Amit Kumar Agarwal – Director, Agarwal Rubber Ltd.
says, “Although we at ARL have a long established
history of philanthropy, but they were mostly through the
traditional methods of endowments to religious institutions
and Social groups, where one was never sure of the quantum
of benefits actually percolating down to the needy. But with
changing times, where the issues are more complex and Corporate
houses are more forthcoming to share the responsibilities
of helping the underprivileged sections of the society,
we also felt the need of a professional, trustworthy and
devoted partner who could help us in our endeavors.
We are grateful
to SMILE FOUNDATION, who came forward with their programs
and we were more then happy to be a part of their mission.”
