MAIN KALAM HOON

Smile Foundation is working on
a parallel film Mai kalam Hoon. The movie is about
a nine year old boy who aspires to overcome all hurdles
to chase his dream. The film propagates a dream that every
child shall go to school and ‘One day the world shall
take notice.’
‘Main
Kalam Hoon’ is a parallel film, presented by
Smile Foundation. The film is being produced by Eleeanora
Images Pvt. Ltd. in association with Flair Communications.
Main Kalam Hoon is a film
to sensitise the privileged mass about the plight of the
underprivileged mass. The film aims at bridging the gap
between the haves’ and have-nots’ and involve
the privileged class in the upliftment of the less privileged.
The strong narrative, scripted by Mr. Sanjay
Chauhan (of Dhoop/Maine Gandhi Ko Nehin Mara/Pan Singh Tomar
fame), talks about how every child deserves to live his/her
childhood, no matter where he/she is born.
The film has a fantastic ensemble of actors,
the likes of Bollywood actors Gulshan Grover, Hussan, the
child actor from ‘Delhi – 6’, Pitabash
(of ‘99’ and ‘Three Idiots’ fame),
Beatrice, a famous French theatre actress.
Susmit Bose, often referred as the ‘Bob
Dylan’ of India, with the help of Deepak Castilino,
a well known musician, would be composing the music and
bringing alive the sound of the Rajasthani soil and the
trance set in a child’s mind.
Director Mr. Nila Madhab Panda is an UN
award winner film maker. He has produced and directed over
60 projects including TV commercials, mega soap operas,
documentaries and films for BBC, Discovery, NGC etc in the
last 12 years. He also has directed a feature film ‘The
Woman from Georgia’, an American production, which
is awaiting release, and starring Philip Reevs, a popular
Hollywood actor.
Nila Madhav is supported by a reputed technical
team that comprises of Mohana Krishna, the Director of Photography
(also the DOP of ‘Ishqiya), Kaamod Karade, sound designer
(of Ishqiya, Dasvidania fame), and Sanjay Dasgupta, Production
Designer (of ‘Partition’ fame).
This film shall have an Indian as well
as an international release.
