Smile Foundation in support with Gas Authority of India Limited organised a health camp for the beneficiaries residing around the project location in Guna. The health camp conducted provided primary and referral health care services to the patients. Around 402 people came over to the camp to avail healthcare services, wherein eight cases of Malaria were referred to the government hospitals. All types of primary and comprehensive services had been provided to the people.
Mr. R.K. Sharma, DGM GAIL, Mr. O.P. Kothari, Block Education Officer (BEO), Mr. Chauhan, Block Academic Coordinator, Mrs. Kori (CDPO, ICDS), Mrs. Aabha Saxena (Block Programme Manager – NRHM), Mr. Purushottam Puri (Ward Member) and Mr. Lokendra Singh Block Coordinator MPJAP (Madhya Pradesh Jan Bahiyan Parishad) attended the health camp and also interacted with the beneficiaries.
Smile health camp teams also conducted sensitization activity within the community to sensitize the people on common preventable health problems and to improve the health and hygiene of the people residing there.
