On 5th March 2011, BPO training was conducted in Mumbai. BPO Training focused on a wide array of skills required to function productively in the present Indian environment, with the growth of the BPO sector in India, there has been a steep rise in the demands for training at the foundation and managerial levels. Looking at the rate of these blossoming BPO companies and IT Enabled Services the training was given to STeP instructors by Mr. Charushil Tayshete. He trained the instructors on BPO overview and work culture , back-end processing ,transaction processing , Interview Preparation, how to participate in a group discussion, resume writing technique, voice & accent, Voice production & importance of vowel & consonants .Chief importance was given to Voice and Accent as it focuses on accent Neutralization ,it proves to positively impact customer service. Also the communication skills of the employees in the BPO industry have been proven to improve two vital factors – the participants’ listening skills and verbal communication.
