For the second year in a row, Triumph Motorcycles India joined hands with Smile Foundation to support the cause of girl child education.
As part of the association, the #TriumphFreedomRide was held on 15th of August across 12 cities of India, including Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Chennai, Pune, Kochi, Chandigarh, Ahmedabad, Indore, and Jaipur where the riders rode to raise awareness and contribution for the cause.
Smile Foundation’s initiative ‘She Can Fly’ is an effort to enable, equip and empower girl children with quality education, proper nutrition, good health, adequate skills, and above all a lot of self-confidence to help them live their lives to their fullest potential.
This is also a step towards sensitizing the civil society at large and helping create a girl child friendly society to help her thrive. One of the major ways which can bring about a huge change in the process of sensitizing the society is by creating awareness.
Smile Foundation is a national level development organisation directly benefitting over 400,000 children and their families every year, through more than 200 live welfare projects on education, healthcare, livelihood and women empowerment, in over 950 remote villages and slums across 25 states of India.
