Indian Institute of Photography (IIP) conducted a day-long workshop on photography for students of Nai Disha Mission Education centre in Noida on July 26, 2013.
Education is no more limited to books and has gone beyond the four walls of classroom. Today, holistic development of children is very important, which is why Smile Foundation encourages extra-curricular activities for the all-round development of students.
During the workshop, Mr. Harshit, an experienced faculty of IIP, enlightened the children about the basics of photography and camera handling. In line with his belief, “There’s a photographer in everybody”, he motivated the students to take up photography. He engaged the children in clicking pictures with the camera and gave them handy tips to capture good images.
Children took immense pleasure in learning the skills and enacting upon them. Mr. Rajesh Goyal, the Trustee of IIP, was also present and he encouraged the children to come forward and be more confident while learning the photography skills.
Mr. Goyal handed over the participation certificates to the children for their enthusiastic involvement in the workshop. The workshop helped the children learn the basics of photography and inspired them all to implement the knowledge gained from the workshop in their day-to-day lives.
