With an objective to sensitise the young school students and make them a participant in the development process, Smile Foundation organised an exposure visit for the students of Kendriya Vidyalaya Karkardooma, Delhi on April 17, 2010 to one of the project centres in the city.
Forty students from the ‘International Inspiration Club’ formed at the school visited the welfare projects of Smile Foundation to see the activities that are being conducted at the centre.
The students from Kendriya Vidyalaya supposedly the privileged section of our society interacted with the kids at the Nai Disha centre, one of the project centres for the Mission Education Programme of Smile foundation.. The kids from the centre also presented some cultural programmes as part of the sensitisation visit.
The Kendriya VIdyalaya schools students also got an opportunity to know about the functioning of ‘Smile on Wheels’, a national level mobile hospital programme of Smile Foundation.
