SIGNATURE CAMPAIGN FOR THE INDIAN CRICKET TEAM…
To cheer and pray for Team India’s win in the World Cup, 2007, the slum children of Delhi joined the whole nation to applaud the team leaving for the tournament.The fever of World Cup is increasing and to take it further, the slum children came together for a signature campaign organized by Smile Foundation. The campaign was organized in Dilli Haat and the slum children scribbled their loving messages on specially made bats for the occasion. Mr. Kirti Azad, a member of the 1983 World Cup winning team of India was the guest for the signature campaign and he also cheered for the Indian team. These messages for their beloved heroes will be sent along with the bat to West Indies.
