Smile Foundation was recognised as the "Best CSR Excellence in Healthcare" (Implementing Organisation) at the ASSOCHAM 2nd Healthcare Summit and Awards 2023 for its telemedicine project in the aspirational district of Mewat (Nuh), Haryana. Supported by SBI Cards & Payments Services Limited, the project has provided support in establishing 10 e-Arogya telemedicine units, catering to a million-strong population. These units are now entrusted to Nuh's district health department, ensuring sustained impact.
As part of its new campaign, ‘Doing is the New Learning’, Dell collaborated with 88 schools in 7 cities along with Smile Foundation, to bring forth a special series called ‘Doing Good’ showcasing the stories of students who are actively making a positive difference in their communities. The primary objective is to inspire young minds to utilize technology as a catalyst for creating a meaningful impact in the world. As part of their commitment, Dell provided stationery kits to 400 children and equipped 5 centres with computers.
Smile Foundation has received the CSRUniverse Social Impact Award 2023 for its flagship education programme Mission Education. For more than 20 years, our education projects have increased the access and quality of education for children in urban slums and remote areas of India. With more than 200 projects, Mission Education is making a more equitable world. This award recognises the dedication of our teachers, field officers, and corporate partners who consistently make efforts to make quality education accessible for all.
AVI-Oil visited Smile Foundation’s Mission Education centre in Faridabad and shared their world with our children. The day started with a noble initiative – a plantation drive. AVI-OiL team members, along with our enthusiastic students, joined hands to plant saplings, instilling a sense of environmental responsibility and nurturing the spirit of sustainability. The interaction continued with creative 'best out-of-waste' activities that sparked the imagination and innovation of the young learners.

As a part of the Blue Streaks Initiative, a dedicated group of Yamaha bikers set out on a mission to engage with children in Delhi, Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad, and Kolkata. During these sessions, employees shared knowledge, engaged in lively discussions, and played interactive games with the students. Experiencing the enthusiasm of the students for learning and engagement was truly rewarding for the bikers. The event also placed a strong emphasis on providing teaching and learning materials to the children.
