Actor Ajay Devgan to celebrate his Padma shri Award with children of Smile Foundation On the Occasion of Father’s Day

New Delhi : June 18, 2016 : Actor Ajay Devgan, a doting father and an ardent supporter of Education for children, is going to spend quality time with 50 children of Smile Foundation on the occasion of Father’s day at his Juhu Office on June 19, 2016. He will also celebrate his Padma shri felicitation with the kids whom he considers as his “lucky charm”.

Ajay Devgan, a long time supporter of Smile Foundation & a firm believer of Education for the underprivileged children, always make a point to meet children usually before a film release but this time he is meeting children of Smile Foundation to celebrate Fathers day and to send the message of importance of Education.

Speaking on this occasion, Mr. Vikram Singh Verma, Chief Operating Officer, Smile Foundation said, “we aim to sensitize children and youth through meaningful cinema and create a lasting impact in their minds through SIFFCY. On one hand we work with underprivileged children and their families and on the other hand under the concept of ‘civic driven change’ we try sensitizing privileged masses particularly children and youth”.

On this occasion, Ajay Devgan pledging his support towards this cause said “Being a father myself, I understand the importance of Education and appreciate the effort of Smile Foundation in eradicating illiteracy amongst the children & help them to come out of the vicious cycle of poverty thereafter.”

I would like to thank Ajay Devgan who has always come forward, encouraged and motivated our children to do well. No refund/cancellation for the donated amount by any donor will not be entertained, the online donations through the online payment gateway.
No cash or refund of money will be allowed.
If any in-kind support received by the donor from any where the material will be reached to the poorest of the poorer communities.
Once received the donation for a cause will not be refunded to the donor. No cancellation to be made. The donation will be used for the community development, children education or women’s empowerment.
