Since 2019, Markit India Services Private Limited, operating under the brand name S&P Global, has been partnering with Smile Foundation to bring primary healthcare services to underserved communities. Through this collaboration, Smile Foundation’s Mobile Medical Units (MMUs) have been delivering medical care directly to those in need.

This initiative focuses on improving the health of pregnant and lactating mothers, ensuring safe motherhood. By integrating with and supporting the government health delivery system, this partnership is making a significant difference in the lives of many, addressing critical health needs and enhancing overall well-being in the communities served.

In an exciting collaboration, Healthium Medtech Ltd and Quality Needles India Ltd are partnering with Smile Foundation to better access to quality primary healthcare in underserved areas. Through this initiative, two Mobile Telemedicine Units will be deployed to Chitrakoot in Uttar Pradesh and Ramanathapuram District in Tamil Nadu.

These units are designed to deliver primary healthcare services directly to urban slums and rural villages, leveraging technology to connect underserved communities with medical professionals. This approach ensures that even the most remote areas receive the quality care they need.

Over the next 25 months, these Mobile Telemedicine Units are expected to provide primary healthcare services to approximately 62,500 people. By bringing healthcare services right to the doorstep, this partnership aims to make significant improvements in the health and well-being of people in these aspirational districts.
