CISCO has extended support for Smile Foundation’s Mission Education programme which will benefit 400 underprivileged children in Dharavi, Mumbai. The main focus areas are classroom activities like Classroom Teaching Learning, Computer Classes, English Classes, Progress Assessment of Students etc. and beyond Classroom activities like Exposure Visit, Health Awareness / Check up Programme, Art & craft/music/ dance activities, Physical education activities, Participation at external events, Employee Engagement Programme, Parent Teacher Meeting, Community meetings, Capacity building of project staff / personnel.
In addition, CISCO is also supporting the health initiative of Smile Foundation called Smile on Wheels by providing Primary Healthcare Services to underprivileged communities with special focus on women and children living in the identified Fetri village of Nagpur through 15 Smile Health Camps. Smile Health Camp is a comprehensive and multi-disciplinary approach to render a range of specialized services including gynecological, pediatric services etc. It’s a special initiative to provide healthcare services to meet the specialized health care needs of the marginalized community through standalone camps. Approximately, 3000 beneficiaries will be benefitted from these camps.
