Interactive Brokers actively assisted Smile Foundation in implementing COVID intervention activities on the ground. Recognizing the importance of alleviating pressure on hospitals and addressing shrinking bed capacity, the focus was on rigorously enforcing home isolation for asymptomatic and mild- to moderately affected COVID-19 patients. In this significant effort, Interactive Brokers supported Smile Foundation by providing 1,389 home isolation kits to vulnerable families.
These kits were designed to empower patients to initiate early medication and actively monitor their health status. Patients could regularly check their temperature and SPO2 levels, enabling them to take prompt action if their oxygen level falls below 95%. By facilitating early intervention and proper consultation with doctors, this collaborative initiative aimed to enhance the care and well-being of affected individuals and reduce the burden on healthcare facilities during these challenging times.
