Smile Foundation partnered with Clarivate to launch a new Smile on Wheels mobile hospital project that will provide doorstep healthcare services to less privileged children and families in New Delhi. The project aims to benefit more than 15,000 children and families from the areas of Taimur Nagar, Sarvodaya Camp, Sudhar Camp, Sanay Camp, New Sanjay Camp, Saasi Camp, Badarpur Village, New Priyanka Camp, Madanpur Khadar and Vishwakarma Colony.
In collaboration with Atlas Copco India, Smile Foundation inaugurated a refurbished Teachers Training center at PCMC (Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation) School, Akurdi Pune. Through this initiative, the municipal corporation will be conducting trainings for approximately 300 teachers every year, thereby improving the various PCMC schools to the next level.
Smile Foundation in partnership with Government of Haryana (District Administration) and SBI Card established 10 E – Arogya Clinics comprising of Tele – Medicine kiosk with Medicine Vending Machine. These 10 E – Arogya clinics are catering to a population of 10 Lacs, covering four blocks of district Nuh. Since the inception of its first Health and Wellness Center in Doha, this project has been working towards the betterment of community health.
In collaboration with Wilde Ganzen Foundation, Smile Foundation organised 'Directors' Meet' of Change the Game Academy (CtGA) programme. It is an annual/bi-annual meeting involving representatives from Wilde Ganzen Foundation, and 14 National Partner Organisations (NPOs) from 12 countries to share the programme's progress at the global and country-level, and set the plan for the future.
Smile Foundation installed Smart TV in vocational labs in 65 schools across 6 districts in Rajasthan under Project Manzil. The initiative will enhance vocational training of more than 13,000 students of Grade 9-12 through audio-visual content available online. Under the Project Manzil in Rajasthan, Smile Foundation is providing counseling and employability skills training to adolescent girls, with support from IPE Global.
MSD Pharmaceuticals Pvt. Ltd., a wholly owned subsidiary of Merck Sharp & Dohme (known as Merck & Co., Inc. in the United States and Canada) partnered with Smile Foundation to announce the launch of three Smile on Wheels mobile medical units in the districts of Balrampur, Chandauli and Varanasi in Uttar Pradesh. Shri Brajesh Pathak, Deputy Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, flagged off the mobile medical units in Lucknow.
