Alcoa India Pvt. Ltd. has joined hands with Smile Foundation as part of their corporate social responsibility, to support the education of underprivileged children. This is the second year of the fruitful partnership, as part of which employees from Alcoa visited Smile Foundation's Mission Education centre and celebrated Diwali with the children. Alcoa India Private Limited provides support to customers in India for Alcoa's entire offering of high-value, high-quality aluminum products. Alcoa supports its customers with global sales and support network and a hundred-year reputation for leadership and innovation in aluminum and other products for aerospace, automotive, transportation, industrial, building and consumer markets.

ASML Foundation has come forward and joined hands with Smile Foundation to promote the cause of education for children under the Mission Education programme. ASML Foundation is an independent charity registered in the Netherlands, linked to ASML and as such ASML’s charity of choice. ASML as a company is founded on a deep understanding of science and technology, which is only possible with quality education. Unfortunately, there are many underprivileged children and youth around the world who do not have access to the quality education that they deserve. Therefore, ASML Foundation’s aim is to improve the self-reliance of certain targeted groups, mainly children and youth, through initiatives that enable better access to education and better quality of education.

As part of its long term association with Smile Foundation, 30 employees from Cisco conducted workshops involving 100 children from Mission Education centres in Bengaluru. The workshop titled “Cisco’s Day of Giving: Bringing Smiles through Science” aimed at linking the expertise and knowledge of the Cisco team to encourage the children to sustain an interest in science. The children had fun as the employees participated with enthusiasm and formed a fruitful bond with them. Cisco is the worldwide leader in IT that helps companies seize the opportunities of tomorrow by proving that amazing things can happen when you connect the previously unconnected. An integral part of their DNA is creating long-lasting customer partnerships and working with them to identify their needs and provide solutions that support their success.

FIS has partnered with Smile Foundation to support eight new Smile Twin e-Learning Programme (STeP) centres, and five new Mission Education centres in five cities – Mumbai, Chennai, Bengaluru, Gurgaon and Chandigarh. The initiative will be supporting as many as 3750 children and 2250 youth. FIS™ is the world’s largest global provider dedicated to banking and payments technologies. As part of GKN Aerospace’s ongoing support toward the education of children under Smile Foundation’s Mission Education programme, employees from GKN played Santa for Smile kids on Christmas. Christmas carols, sweets and gifts from the employees to the kids set the right mood for the festival of giving. Employees from GKN encouraged the children to follow their dreams and also organized a talent show to help them showcase their talents. GKN Aerospace is one of the world’s largest independent first tier suppliers to the global aviation industry. With over 100 years of aerospace experience, GKN harnesses its considerable knowledge and advanced manufacturing technologies to supply high-value, integrated assemblies in both metallic and composite materials. It employs approximately 12,000 people in more than 35 facilities across 4 continents.

Hindustan Unilever Limited, India’s largest FMCG Company, continued their support for Smile Foundation through their ongoing India’s Favorite Campaign initiative. The FMCG giant in association with Tata Star Bazaar stores, does a unique consumer promotion campaign – India’s Favorite – to promote the cause of education of underprivileged children. Under this campaign, HUL has been supporting Smile Foundation’s Mission Education programme for the last three years. This campaign is spread across seven cities in India and offers attractive discounts on specific units of leading brands of HUL namely, Brooke Bond Red Label, Tata Tea, Kissan, Knorr, Kwality Walls, Clean & Clear, Dove, Vaseline, Axe, Surf and Vim. HUL contributes part of the sales proceeds from all these brands to support the education of underprivileged children.

As part of Hyder Consulting Pvt. Ltd.'s ongoing association with Smile Foundation, a workshop was conducted for the female employees of the organization to build support for women's rights and their participation in the economic and political spheres of society. The workshop was facilitated by Mrs. Geeta Menon, Co-founder and Secretary of Stree Jagruthi Samiti. Hyder Consulting has been supporting the education of underprivileged children across India under the Mission Education programme. Hyder Consulting India Pvt. Ltd. is a multi-national design and engineering consultancy renowned for working on some of the world's most iconic buildings and structures. Hyder's vision is to be the next evolution in design engineering and consultancy, keeping them ahead of the competition.

Indigo has joined hands with Smile Foundation to support the education of 100 underprivileged girl children under the Mission Education programme, through an in-flight promotional initiative. IndiGo is an Indian budget airline headquartered at Gurgaon, India. It is the fastest growing and also the largest airline in India. The airline offers 534 daily flights connecting to 37 destinations including 5 international destinations with its primary hub at Delhi's IGI Airport. It presently operates a fleet of 84 aircraft belonging to Airbus A320 family.

The quality time devoted by the employees for the children made their day a memorable one. Monsanto is a sustainable agriculture company. They deliver agricultural products that support farmers all around the world, with a focus on empowering farmers—large and small—to produce more from their land while conserving more of the world's natural resources such as water and energy. They also produce leading in-the-seed trait technologies for farmers, which are aimed at protecting their yield, supporting their on-farm efficiency and reducing their on-farm costs.

QSI Healthcare has joined hands with Smile Foundation to support the healthcare of the marginalized community under the Smile on Wheels mobile hospital programme. They have pledged support towards the healthcare needs of 1080 individuals. As part of the partnership, employees from QSI Healthcare also visited the Smile on Wheels unit at the Anandapuram Slum in Bangalore. Quality Systems, Inc. (QSI) and its NextGen Healthcare subsidiary provide clinical, financial and connectivity solutions for ambulatory, inpatient and dental providers to empower patient-centered care and deliver results. QSI opened its Bangalore division, Quality Systems India Healthcare (QSIH), in April 2011 to enhance performance of the company’s Technology Services, Business Services and Programme Management.

Roots Analysis has joined hands with Smile Foundation under the Mission Education initiative. Under the organization’s CSR initiative, they are supporting the education of 50 underprivileged children across India. Roots Analysis is a business research and consulting firm focussed in the field of biopharmaceuticals and medical devices. The company specialises in analysing areas which have lacked quality research so far or require more focussed understanding within the broader industry.

Snapdeal has partnered with Smile Foundation to support and sustain the education of 30 children under the Mission Education programme. Launched in February 2010, Snapdeal.com is India’s largest e-commerce marketplace. Snapdeal provides a platform for vendors across the country to connect with millions of customers. Their online shopping platform has the widest assortment of products from thousands of national, international and regional brands across diverse categories like Mobiles, Laptops, Cameras, Appliances, Women's Apparel, Men's Apparel, Watches, Home & Kitchen, Automotive and Health. Snapdeal.com has a network of more than 50000 Merchants/Brands, catering to the shopping needs of customers across 4000+ towns and cities.

Tod’s hosted a charity sale at Tod’s Boutique, DLF Emporio Mall in New Delhi in support of Smile Foundation. Part proceeds from the sale were contributed towards the Smile on Wheels mobile hospital programme to help provide primary health services to children and families in remote villages and urban slum areas. As one of the Italian leaders in the shoe and luxury leather goods industries, Tod’s is known for its refined, understated luxury, impeccable taste and enviable quality. Founded as a small shoe factory in the 1940’s, today Tod’s has entered the market almost all over the world. All products are entirely made in Italy, which has proven to be one of the greatest strength of the company: a peculiarity that distinguishes the brand and attracts customers who truly appreciate Italian craftsmanship.

Tractebel Engineering, India has joined hands with Smile Foundation to provide education to underprivileged children as part of their vision of an educated India. Going forward with their commitment, Tractebel Engineering is supporting 120 children under the Mission Education programme, taking care of their needs of education, books and school uniforms for the next one year. Tractebel Engineering, a business unit of GDF SUEZ Energy Services, is a global engineering consultancy company with more than 100 years of expertise in energy and infrastructure projects. Its services cover the whole lifecycle of these projects, from feasibility studies to decommissioning. Headquartered in Brussels (Belgium), Tractebel Engineering has offices in 33 countries and projects in over 140 countries.

ZEETEX, a fully owned subsidiary of ZAFCO, has joined hands with Smile Foundation to support the education of underprivileged children under Mission Education programme. ZEETEX has already extended support towards the education of 200 children in the last two years. Founded in 1993, ZAFCO distributes and sells to retail company's world-class tyres, batteries and lubricants of leading brands in over 80 countries, working closely with 800+ distributors. The brand ZEETEX was established in 2005. ZEETEX product portfolio comprises of tires, batteries & lubricants and offers over 600 differentiated items for the automotive industry.
