Smile Foundation’s international partners came together at the Directors’ Meet at Goa, India, between June 10 and 13, 2009. The four-day-long meet was attended by representatives from Smile Foundation, Soul City (South Africa), Cese (Brazil), Wilde Ganzen (The Netherlands), Net4Kids and Kids Rights, also from The Netherlands. The participants discussed on a host of issues and strategies under the Action For Children programme, devised to sensitise and involve the privileged lot for the development of the underprivileged mass across the developing nations.
The meet highlighted on further consolidation and expansion of the AFC movement across the developing world.
AFC, ongoing in India since April 2008, is a partnership between Smile Foundation and a Dutch Government promoted consortium (Wild Ganzen, Net4Kids and Kids Rights). Soul City, South Africa and Cese, Brazil are the other international partners of the AFC movement.
