Employees from Open Text spend a day with the children of a Mission Education centre in Hyderabad talking about the need for hygiene and maintaining good health for regular attendance. The children prepared various charts on how to maintain personal hygiene, keep the environment clean by proper disposal of waste; spreading awareness about the harmful effects of plastic use etc. the team interacted with the children and encouraged them to be more proactive about issues which concern their well being.
The Smile on Wheels programme has so far provided free healthcare services to more than 10 lakh children and families.
Smile Foundation is a national level development organisation directly benefitting over 400,000 children and their families every year, through more than 200 live welfare projects on education, healthcare, livelihood and women empowerment, in over 950 remote villages and slums across 25 states of India.
