On 5th April 2014, an Employer Engagement Programme was conducted at on of the STeP training center Desh Seva Samiti in Mumbai. Mr. Rajendra Gawde an HR from “NETSURF” came to the center for interaction with the STeP students. The main objective behind holding such kind of engagement program is that the students should be well acquainted with the working culture of companies “NETSURF”, the job requirements, salary structure and what are the areas they need to work and improve on future.
The core area of discussion was based on interview and presentation skills. At the end of the engagement programme the students were very happy with the outcome of the program as it would help them to prepare themselves mentally to take up challenges before going for an interview. And lastly they learned a lot regarding how to work on their weak areas and become successful in future.
