A parent’s workshop was conducted at a school in Delhi. The whole idea behind the workshop was to sensitize the parents about inculcating the values of love, compassion, giving etc in the child from a young age. Over 100 parents took part in the workshop. Such sessions for older students are conducted under Smile Foundation’s Child for Child programme to sensitize privileged school going children about positive values like helping the needy, inculcating the values of love and compassion within oneself.
Under the Child for Child programme, Smile Foundation visits various schools and conducts engaging sessions for the young minds. It sensitizes children towards various causes and let them realize their privileged status.
CFC currently reaches out to nearly one million privileged children in 1974 schools spread across 417 districts of India, every year. In addition, their parents and teachers are also involved in the process. The programme has today reached out to each part of India with the exception of Lakshadweep.
