A parent’s workshop was conducted at a school in Islampur. The whole idea behind the workshop was to sensitize the parents about inculcating the values of love, compassion, giving etc in the child from a young age. Such sessions for older students are conducted under Smile Foundation’s Child for Child programme to sensitize privileged school going children about positive values like helping the needy, inculcating the values of love and compassion within oneself. A total of 200 parents participated in the event.
Under the Child for Child programme, Smile Foundation visits various schools and conducts engaging sessions for the young minds. It sensitizes children towards various causes and let them realize their privileged status.
