More than 150 children and their families living under the Santa Cruz-Chembur bridge, Mumbai got a rare access to primary healthcare. The people who somehow make both ends meet by selling stuff made out of plastic, healthcare and sanitation are not something they pay attention to. Surprisingly many families turned up. The camp was helpful for the families as they were provided treatment that included OPD sessions, diagnosis, distribution of medicines, and referral services. Besides these, health counseling was done to generate awareness on health-seeking behavior among the families.
