As the Smile International Film Festival for Children and Youth (SIFFCY) 2024 – in association with the European Union – progresses, it’s heartening to see the impact of good cinema on children across the country. With screenings in schools across India, the festival has become a platform for engaging young minds with films that inspire, educate, and connect.
Children’s appreciation for diverse narratives and cultures is growing as they engage deeply with the films presented. The feedback has been incredibly positive, encouraging us to expand our reach to over 1000 locations, aiming to make quality cinema accessible to even more children and continue enriching their educational journeys through film.
