Share few smiles with the less fortunate as you enter the wedding lock
Smile Foundation became a part of the Dulhan Expo (Bridal Expo) organised in New Jersey, United States of America on December 7, 2009. New Jersey based volunteer Ms. Nandini Mathur, along with her cousin Ms. Nandita Bali had put up a stall at the Expo to raise awareness about Smile Foundation and its cause.
During the expo, they played awareness videos, distributed Smile Foundation brochures and educated people on how one can bring changes in the lives of underprivileged by small yet significant gestures. Hundreds of people visited the stall and acknowledged Smile Foundation’s work and Nandini’s initiative to help the needy children in India. There were 10 young women who showed interest to allow Smile Foundation to put up a stall at their wedding taking an inspiration from Nandini. She has asked the guests to bring something for the needy children back in India rather than getting her wedding gifts.
