At a time when pollution levels are increasing at an unprecedented rate it has become important for us to find a solution to the problem and encourage healthy living. There is no better way than to involve young minds and sensitize them from an early age to take care of the environment. Keeping the same in mind children form one of Smile Foundation’s Mission Education centre in Delhi participated in Tropicana’s Gift a Tree initiative on the 16th of November. Smile Foundation Goodwill Ambassador Vikas Khanna planted tress with the children and also unveiled his new book for children- “A Tree Named Ganga”. Over 250 children participated in the event and were seen having a great time interacting with their favorite chef at the event.
Tropicana’s Gift A Tree initiative aims to spread awareness about the importance of planting trees. The brand partnered with the ‘Rally for Rivers’ and grow-trees.com, and has pledged to plant over 25,000 trees.
