Oral hygiene is an important part aspect of our overall health and taking good care of our teeth keeps us away from various diseases. It is especially important to teach children to take proper care of their oral hygiene and also conduct regular check up of their oral hygiene. Keeping in mind the same a Dental Health camp was conducted for the students of a Mission Education centre in Tamil Nadu. The doctor conducted a regular dental checkup and prescribed medicines for those suffering from teeth problems and references for problems such as dental cavity etc. Nearly 397 Beneficiaries participated in the health camp and utilized the benefits. The doctor also advised the students to brush twice a day and avoid sticky, sweet things after brushing and rinse their mouth after every meal. The children learnt a lot and were greatly benefitted by both the session and check up.
