Hand washing is an important part of our daily activities. One should wash hands before and after eating and keep hands clean to avoid a number of diseases as our hands carry dirt and bacteria from different places. It is important to teach children the benefits of hand washing at a young age so that it does not hamper their health and healthy habits can be inculcated.
An IEC activity was recently conducted at a school in Gurugram where the doctors addressed the children about hand washing and why is it important for good health. Hand washing kits were also distributed to the children and the children were also given a demo of how to wash hands properly.
