Nagpur: A three-day workshop was organised at Shradhanand Anathalay. The event started with a calligraphy session wherein the children were taught how to improve their handwriting. Later, they were given worksheets to practice. JCI Nagpur Central Club sponsored the writing materials.
On the second day, Avinash Senad, a National award winner teacher was the key speaker. Senad gave children tips on how to concentrate on studies. All the queries on different subjects were well answered by Senad.
The three day event came to an end with art, craft & dance session. Deepika Godbole, a arts teacher taught children how to make paper bags, apply mehandi & free hand drawing.
Refresher course for KV teachers
Kolkata: The Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, Kolkata organized a 12 day ’Refresher Course’ programme for the teachers of KV Sangathan East. The programme was hosted and organised by KV, Bamangachi, Howrah.
During the programme, Smile Foundation organised a workshop on ‘how to behave with adolescents’ and ‘the role of teachers and parents’.
The workshop was inaugurated by P. C. Mahapatra, Principal, KV Bamangachi, which was followed by a welcome address by Mr. S. Banik, GM, Smile Foundation, East. He gave a power point presentation about Smile Foundation and its various projects in East India.
At least 55 teachers from Andaman Nicobar, Silchar, Orissa, Pana and other areas of East India participated in the workshop.
